Since 2014, Federation of Tamil Sangams of North America has presented the TAP Award to recognize Tamil American Pioneers in various fields — passionate trailblazers in their careers who are paving the way for the next generation.
Objectives of the Tamil American Pioneers awards event are:
1) Honor and celebrate the extraordinary professional achievements of Tamil Americans in a variety of disciplines. These achievements should have been validated by professional organizations in their respective field.
2) Provide a formal networking forum for Tamil American professionals.
3) Motivate and inspire younger generations of Tamil Americans.
We are looking for individuals who go beyond their peers in achieving significant impact in their chosen or allied fields. The objective is to bring their visibility to our community, especially the next generation, for inspiration.
The nomination and selection process will be conducted in a rigorous and unbiased manner. Judges decision is final.
