About FeTNA Convention
FeTNA (Federation of Tamil Sangams of North America) is an annual convention that brings together Tamil communities from across North America to celebrate Tamil language, arts, culture, and heritage. Attendees can enjoy a vibrant showcase of Tamil arts and traditions, engaging cultural talks and headline performances, youth programs and competitions (Vaagaisoodi, Kural Theni, Tamil Theni), networking with Tamil Sangams and professionals from across North America, and an expo with vendors, sponsors, food, and community initiatives. Registration & Tickets
Tickets start from $250. Register at register2026.fetna-convention.org. Early registration is encouraged as spots are limited. For registration queries, email registration@fetna.org.
There are three types of attendee options available: Regular Tickets, Donor Packages, and Sponsorship Packages.
The Regular Ticket ($250) includes entry on July 3 and July 4, along with lunch and dinner on both days. Special competition packages are also available for children and parents participating in various language, art, and other competitions. Competitions will be conducted as parallel sessions, and access to parallel sessions is not restricted on July 2.
Sports participants must purchase Regular Tickets.
Donor and Sponsorship Packages include entry on all three days — July 2, July 3, and July 4. These packages also include access to FiTEN and Star Night on July 2, along with lunch and dinner on July 2.
Entrepreneurs and business owners who would like to support the convention may choose from our Sponsorship Packages, which offer additional promotional, booth, and recognition benefits.
All attendees will have access to parallel sessions covering a wide range of topics, including health, history, Tamil language, and Tamil society. A detailed schedule will be posted closer to the event.

Special Competition Packages are discounted FeTNA Convention ticket packages offered to children and their families who are participating in Vaagai Soodi competitions, including Kural Theni, Ariviyal Theni, Kalai Theni, Tamil Theni, and Padaippu Theni. These discounted packages are part of FeTNA’s mission to encourage Tamil language, arts, and cultural participation among children and families.

No. Single-day passes are not available.
Yes. A group discount of up to 12% is available for groups of 20 or more. To register a group or for additional details, please email registration@fetna.org.

Yes. FeTNA will serve both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food options, featuring Tamil cuisine from different regions of Tamil Nadu and Tamil Eelam. Please refer to the ticket details above for the food options included with each package.
There is no formal dress code for the FeTNA Convention. Attendees are welcome to dress comfortably and appropriately for the event.
For July 2, especially for FiTEN and Star Night, many attendees may prefer business suits or business casual attire, but this is not mandatory.
For July 3 and July 4, we encourage attendees to wear traditional Tamil attire to celebrate the cultural spirit of the convention.
FeTNA does not mandate any specific dress code, and all attendees are welcome to participate in attire of their choice.

Venue & Getting There
FeTNA 2026 will be held at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center (NJCEC), located within the Raritan Center Business Park — 97 Sunfield Ave, Edison, NJ 08837. The event runs July 2, 3 & 4, 2026, starting from 9AM each day. View full venue details →

Yes! Parking is free at the venue and at most nearby hotels.
Newark Liberty International (EWR) is the closest airport — approximately 18 miles away, a 25–35 minute drive. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) averages $40–$60. By train, take NJ Transit’s Northeast Corridor Line from EWR to Edison Station (~20 mins), then a 10-minute rideshare to the venue. Yes, several hotels are available near the convention venue. FeTNA has arranged hotel options for attendees:
1. Packages that include hotel accommodation
For certain Donor and registration packages that include hotels, the FeTNA Registration Team will coordinate and book the hotel rooms on your behalf.
2. Packages that do not include hotel accommodation
For Regular Tickets and certain Sponsor/Donor packages that do not include hotels, guests are requested to book their own hotel rooms directly.

Yes. FeTNA is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization. From the FeTNA leadership team to committee members and event volunteers, everyone serves voluntarily and purchases their own tickets. Many volunteers also support the convention further by becoming donors.
Therefore, apart from the generally announced discounts, there is no separate special discount for volunteers.
